Happy Valentine’s Day & New Work in Progress Announcement!!
I’m a few days late in my usual weekly updates post, but I figured I’d wait until today so I could say — Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
Now I know a lot of people aren’t huge fans of this Holiday, but as for me — it’s an entire Holiday based on love and chocolate. How can we not like it? And I promise, hubby and I don’t do anything over the top special! Even when I was single, I’d visit with a good book boyfriend, drink some champagne and eat chocolate covered strawberries and I was in heaven
So yes, I’m one of THOSE
people who happen to like Valentine’s Day … speaking of which I need to go get some champagne today!
This past Monday, I went live on Facebook and gave some updates of things happening this week, but I also talked for the first time about my New Work In Progress !! More on that momentarily!
A few updates and things to be on the lookout for this week:
- I’ve joined the world of Facebook and now have a personal page! Before I just had my Business Page, but found it easier to interact in Groups, Giveaways and Takeovers with a personal page. SO — feel free to “Friend Me” and have another way to get in touch and chat with me!
- Laura Lee , a Paranormal, Urban Fantasy & Contemporary Romance Author, has released her final book in the Pixie Dust Chronicles, Elemental Magicks! YAY! This is a fantastic paranormal romance / urban fantasy series! She’s going to be having a HUGE Release Party on Facebook this Friday, February 16th from 12 PM EST – 9 PM EST ! There will be multiple authors taking over her page for giveaways and some fun all day! I will be doing an Author Takeover during the Release Party from 2:00 – 2:30 PM EST!! Now onto the Work in Progress Announcement: I’m so excited about this book. I haven’t been this excited about writing in a while, so I can’t wait to get more done and share some additional details with you all! For now, what I can tell you is that this book will focus on our main character, Jules Parker. Jules is a 24-year-old in her final year of a Master’s Program. She has an internship at Falcone Industries, the number one pharmaceutical company in the U.S. She hopes to become a Research Scientist, with a focus in Genetic Research. It’s a paranormal romance, so you know things aren’t going to go smoothly for Jules for very long. She’ll get going on quite an adventure and we will get to meet some of her good friends, and some sexy new additions to her life along the way! This book does not have a title right now, but I’ll be sure to update you as soon as things get further along! The book will focus on vampires and vampire hunters! I can’t WAIT to share more!! Any thoughts so far???
